Bleu Horses of Montana
The Bleu Horses of Montana are a famous sculpture exhibit created by one of Montana's favorite local artists, Jim Dolan. The exhibition is made up of 39 horse sculptures which are made primarily out of steel. It is permanently installed on a hillside near Highway 287 just north of Three Forks, MT. The installation takes its name from a horse called a Blue Roan, which is actually closer to a gray color in the natural world. I like to spend time with them in the middle of the night while they bask under the stars, with the lights of Three Forks dancing in the background. Prints are available for any of these images with full consent of Jim Dolan. Just click on the cart icon above any of the images you are interested in purchasing.
